Local Analyst (Africa)

Right now, we’re looking for a senior/mid-level analyst to join our local analytics team and cover analytics for our African hub countries.

Responsibilities:

• Generate ideas, research data, and A/B test hypotheses to improve the business
• Analyze the courier and customer base for insights, including behavior patterns, cohort analytics, and segmentation
• Develop operational tools and courier and client policies (incentive plans, subsidy policies, activity programs, and so on) to drive overall revenue and profitability
• Manage initiative implementation to significantly impact the business in the short term
• Track and analyze operational, economic, and client metrics
• Create actionable dashboards and data-driven decision-making tools to support business stakeholders

Qualifications:

• University degree in exact sciences/economics
• 1-3 years of analytical experience
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
• Project management skills/experience
• Advanced communication skills
• Upper-intermediate English fluency

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced MS Excel proficiency
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or a similar data-visualization tool
• Intermediate French proficiency
